// about

Beyondthe code.

Fifteen-plus years shipping software for a living: SaaS, startups, enterprise, mobile, applied AI. But the urge to build never stayed inside the browser. The same discipline that keeps production systems healthy shows up at my workbench at home: if something can be programmed, automated or flown, it probably has been.

01

Hardware, robotics & Arduino

Microcontrollers, sensors and robots. Firmware on ESP32s and Arduinos, small machines that sense and react: engineering with real physics in the loop.

02

Home automation

Turning the house into a system: lights, climate, routines and the everyday logistics of life, quietly automated.

03

Drones, racing & aerial film

FPV drone racing for the adrenaline, aerial footage for the eye: fast machines, precise hands.

04

Cigars & whisky

A collection of rare cigars and a deep respect for good whisky. Slow rituals, done properly.

05

Travel & gastronomy

New cultures through their food: travelling to eat, and eating to understand the place.

Selected work

A few things I built end to end. No client names here on purpose: the work speaks for itself.

01

Sole architect & lead engineer

Book Generator AI

An AI-native publishing platform built around the hardest problem in long-form text: keeping context coherent across tens of thousands of words. A multi-stage pipeline (planning, chapter generation with context propagation, and an automated evaluation engine) turns a rough idea into a publication-ready book that reads in one voice from first page to last.

long-form context solved · coherent 40k-word books

02

Full-stack + AI engineer

Enterprise knowledge & RAG

Retrieval-augmented systems over private corpora: document ingestion, chunking, embeddings and vector search, serving grounded answers through LLM-powered interfaces that internal teams actually use.

Backend & platform engineer

Cloud-native platforms & APIs

Distributed backends and event-driven architectures: REST and microservices, auth, queues, caching and observability, built to serve thousands of users and stay deliberately boring under load.

Full-stack mobile engineer

Mobile & cross-platform apps

Cross-platform products in React Native with offline-first thinking, clean state management and a codebase that stays maintainable as the roadmap keeps growing.

The tools I reach for, grouped by where they live in the system. Boring where it should be boring, sharp where it counts.

// method

How thework moves.

01

Understand, then architect

Start from the business intent, not the framework. Map the durable parts, isolate the one risky bet, and design the system before writing the hot path.

02

Build in vertical slices

Ship thin end-to-end slices, UI to database to deploy, so every increment is real and demoable instead of a half-finished layer.

03

Wire the intelligence carefully

Integrate LLMs and agents with guardrails, tool boundaries, evaluation and a human in the loop wherever the cost of being wrong is real.

04

Ship, measure, refine

Observability from day one. Iterate on signals from real users and real traffic, not on assumptions made in a vacuum.

// arc, no logos

Trajectory

The whole arc compressed into the moves that mattered, origin included. Company names left out by design.
